Our attitude: Once Goethe was asked which three things he would take to a desert island. A book with poetry, a beautiful woman and enough bottles of the best world wines. he answered. To the question which one of them he would leave if he may take two things only, he replied: Poetry. Being slightly surprised the man asked him for a third time:Her Goethe, and if you are allowed to take only one thing with you? After thinking for a few seconds, Goethe replied: Depends on the harvest.

Our idea: A promising adventure in the world of Bulgarian wines giving the opportunity to taste Bulgaria.

Our concept: A journey guided by prominent wine-experts leading you to sensitive experience and profound knowledge on Bulgarian wines.

Half-day tour to Kaliakra and Balchik

Kaliakra is a beautiful cape which lies 60 km away from Varna. The cape stretches 2km deep into the sea and consists of 60-70m-high limestone rocks, the inaccessibility of which has been the main reason for the construction of an ancient fortress named Tirisis there. The fortress was successively used by Tracians, Romans, Byzantines and Bulgarians.
Balchik Palace – a queen’s summer dream... The queen was Maria of Romania, and her love for that patch of Bulgarian land – at first sight. The rose garden and the largest collection of cactuses in Europe are masterpieces of the royal park. The stroll through the park takes the visitor to the only palace with minaret in the world, in complete harmony with the mosque dome, a marble throne brought from Florence, a bridge of sighs, a large clay vessel from Morocco, a Mediterranean-style well, a Moorish-style pool.

Date: 18 September 2015, Friday, 9:00 – 13:00 h
